Planning A Bridal Shower Party Made Easy

Here's How to Put Together a Fun Shower Party to Remember

We've put everything you need for a bridal shower party together right here to help you make all arrangements.  We've got the checklists and guest lists, to ensure you become the perfect hostess with the mostest. Our first piece of advice - leave at least 3 weeks for planning, sending out the invitations, and buying in all you need. In fact if you are already leading rather a busy life, you might find that three periods of 10 days gives you more space and less stress - it's your choice!

1st Week: Getting the Bridal Shower Organized
What will be Expected?  -  Traditionally, a bridal shower is a daytime event, and brings together in the one place the bride-to-be's friends and family from all sides and aspects of her life. So one of the principal targets is breaking and melting the ice.  This is a fairly standard sort of procedure you can use for your bridal shower that does exactly that:

  • Welcome your friends and guests
  • An ice-breaking activity such as a game
  • Circulate and introduce friends by serving drinks first
  • Do the same with trays or plates of food; alternatively you could have a buffet service
  • Another activating game or communicating activity
  • Open the gifts and cards
  • Serve a dessert or cake

Of course, you should be ready to throw in some extra games, mix things around, even leave some planned things out if one particular activity is going very well.  This is where you have to go with the flow!  These are the sort of games that really help you and your guests get your creativity flowing:
